Comedian Jo Koy to Perform at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa
Cabazon, California (February 18, 2009) - Jo Koy, one of comedy’s up and coming stars, will perform at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa Saturday March 28 in Vibe. Jo Koy, named one of Daily Variety’s “10 comics to watch” in 2007, has been performing comedy routines since 1994. Koy got his start in Las Vegas coffee house, but has since moved on to bigger venues such as Carlos Mencia's "Punisher Tour" and Comedy Central Presents.
Koy has reached fame through his commentary on VH1’s I Love the 70's, 80', 90's and New Millenium episodes as well as Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza!. Jo won on Showtime at the Apollo as well as Canada’s prestigious Gemini Award for his work at the Montreal comedy festival - Just for Laughs. Koy has also made the rounds on late night television, performing on shows such as performed on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, Chelsea Lately, Last Call with Carson Daly and the Tonight Show.
